Founded by Bishop Robert E. Hooks in 1976, Restoration was originally named "Cathedral of Love" and held services in a family home before moving to Ivanhoe, Tulare, and residing permanently in Visalia, CA. From the Visalia Carpenter Hall to the newest campus on Sumter Ct., Restoration has grown not just in the city, but around the world, through the training and planting of ministers. We now have sister-churches across the globe: Shreveport, LA, Corpus Christi, TX, Stockton, CA, Flint, MI, Wasilla, A, Kahului, HI, Gallup, NM, Canada, India, Africa... as well as orphanages overseas. We have been a ministry unafraid of reaching all people regardless of a status quote, ethnic background or demographics. A multicultural/non-denominational ministry, Restoration continues to break the boundaries of religion and bring all nations together.
This journey has seen countless men and women who have given their hearts to the Lord, individuals, and families that have been restored, as well as miraculous healings. This is a ministry that has established its mark in our community through the expression of God’s love and an intense and accurate prophetic word. These are the earmarks of the ministry you are joining – Welcome - we are blessed to have you in the family and are excited to see how God will use you as you plug into the ministry.
